MOVIES, Duplicity

Before-movie-prediction: Directed and written by Tony Gilroy who did Michael Clayton (now that is smart modern movie we got there), so I had this gut feeling second-chances like this = fail. It does make a good theory though.

Reason of actually watching it: Watching it with mum, and you know how quirky and witty spy movies like this are. Combination of mixture of Ocean Eleven movies with Mr and Mrs Smith element to it. Despite top actors and commercial box office success, sort of has to be watched.

Minutes into the movie: Oh yeah people are sucked into Roberts/Owen because they were in Closer (good movie) as well. I think though the peak is over for both of them - terrible acting. Like we get it, you guys both don't trust each other but you make out/sex anyway, but do you have to replay it in another somewhat exotic locations. And the 24-use of transitions, and Lost-like flashbacks please! - JUST stick to the story.

End of the movie/around the climax: Movie dragged on too long just to realise that last moment. Could of been an HBO TV movie if it had to.

Rating: ** Only worth DVD for parents who enjoyed Roberts in Pretty Woman, though might be disappointed.
