MOVIES, The Informers

The next Bret Easton Ellis book to turn into a movie.
American Psycho - a cult classic to The Rules of Attraction - good teenage movie without being too commercial.

The trailer for The Informers looks like something out of a chessy typical messed up B 90's movie.

"Greed is good. Sex is easy. Youth is forever."

Published in 1995, the collection of loosely connected short stories captures a week in L.A. in 1983, featuring movie executives, rock stars, a vampire and other morally challenged characters in adventures laced with sex, drugs and violence. Directed by Gregor Jordon. The film is based on Ellis' 1994 collection of short stories of the same name. Filming took place in Los Angeles, Uruguay, and Buenos Aires. It was the last film for actor Brad Renfro before his January 15, 2008 death at the age of 25. RIP Renfro
